Chris Easter

Chris Easter is a co-founder of The Man Registry. He is recognized as a national expert in the groom’s niche of the wedding industry and has appeared on and been quoted by a variety of TV shows, magazines, and wedding industry panels. Some of his favorites include The New York Times, Entrepreneur, Fast Company, Inc., The Knot, Wedding MBA and ABC’s 20/20. Chris is the author of Be The Man: The Man Registry Guide for Grooms which was published by Alpha Books in 2012. He has served on the board of Children’s Mercy Hospital Ambassadors and has helped raise thousands of dollars for this Kansas City institution. When he’s not working, Chris enjoys reading, traveling, watching sports, and spending time with his wife and two daughters.

Favorite gift on The Man Registry?

As a bourbon lover, I can’t recommend our mini bourbon aging barrel enough. It’s a unique, functional gift that allows you to age your own custom blend of bourbon. The barrels make great groomsmen gifts because it’s something that not a lot of guys already have.

Top piece of advice for grooms?

Work as a team with your bride-to-be. Scheduling weekly or bi-weekly wedding planning date nights are a great way to kick back and relieve stress while still making some progress.
