What type of marker should be used?

We recommend using a fine point Sharpie permanent marker. You may want to consider purchasing several to have on hand.

Where should the signature board be displayed?

Most guests display near the entrance to the reception so nobody misses it. It may also be on or near the gift table.

We also have had many customers display at the rehearsal dinner so the wedding party and close family/friends get to sign.

How many signatures will fit?

This is a common question we receive and impossible to give a definite answer to. There are 32 signatures/messages shown in the main photo. As you can see, some are quite larger. We estimate that this number could easily be doubled if you ask your guests to write smaller. We’ve had many customers use this at their rehearsal dinner which only includes the wedding party and close family. We’ve also had customers with larger guest lists purchase two to ensure every guest at the wedding reception gets to sign. Keep in mind that not every individual guest will sign. Generally there will be one signature per family/couple.
