12 Nasty Bachelor Party Shots

Let’s face it, grooms, as your big day approaches you’re going to be the subject of many jokes and pranks (which you probably deserve for giving away your manhood). We’re guessing that a lot of your so-called “friends” have all sorts of gags planned for your bachelor party. Lucky for you, there’s a way to get them all back.

Some grooms like to show appreciation to their stag night guests by buying a round of shots for the group. However, not all grooms are especially kind when choosing which shot to give away. Think of it this way: this is your toast to your party guests. “Thanks for taking advantage of me all night… suckers!”

Here are some shots that will make the hair on the back of your buddies’ necks stand up. Remember: don’t tell them what they’re about to drink.

1. Prairie Fire

  • Ingredients: Tequila and Tabasco sauce
  • Verdict: Certified nasty.

2. Cement Mixer

  • Ingredients: Baileys Irish Cream and lime juice
  • Verdict: This shot is pretty creative and is especially disturbing for anyone who has a gag reflex. Start with a shot of Bailey’s, hold it in the mouth, follow up with a shot of lime juice and swish the two together. The nastiness comes from the Baileys curdling when mixed with lime juice.

3. Smoker’s Cough

  • Ingredients: A shot of Jagermeister (harmless enough) topped off with a squirt of mayonnaise.
  • Verdict: What do you think? No explanation is necessary.

4. Buffalo Sweat (Aka The New Jersey Turnpike)

  • Ingredients: The bartender drains all of the liquor from the rubber bar mat into shot glasses. To top it off, ask him to ring out the bar rag as well.
  • Verdict: Watch as your friends run to the restroom (if they can make it in time).

5. Three Wise Men

  • Ingredients: Equal parts of Johnnie Walker Scotch, Jim Beam Bourbon, and Jack Daniels Whiskey.
  • Verdict: Not the worst on this list. All that we ask is you don’t waste any Johnnie Walker Blue Label with this.

6. The Four Horsemen

  • Ingredients: Three Wise Men plus Jose Cuervo.
  • Verdict: Head south of the border and add a little twist to your Three Wise Men shot. It’s easy to make, not so much to drink.

7. Motor Oil

  • Ingredients: 1 ½ oz. Jagermeister Herbal Liqueur, ½ oz. Peppermint Schnapps, ½ oz. Goldschlager Cinnamon Schnapps and ½ oz. Malibu Coconut Rum.
  • Verdict: This is almost as bad as literally drinking motor oil.  Don’t think it sounds all that awful? Go ahead and try it.

8. Gorilla Puke

  • Ingredients: Equal parts Bacardi 151 and Wild Turkey Bourbon.
  • Verdict: There’s no gimmick with this shot but it’s not for the faint of heart.

9. Bacardi 151

  • Ingredients: Bacardi 151
  • Verdict: Tastes like pure gasoline and equally as flammable. Unfortunately, Bacardi discontinued this infamous rum but you still may be able to find a bottle.

10. The Mexican Hooker

  • Ingredients: Jose Cuervo, Tabasco sauce, and tuna fish juice
  • Verdict: This may be the worst on the list. But hey, at least you’ll get some use out of the tune fish juice you always carry around.

11. Infected Whitehead

  • Ingredients: Vodka, Bloody Mary mix, cottage cheese
  • Verdict: Every aspect of this shot is disgusting. 0/10, never again.

12. Prairie Oyster (Hangover Cure!)

  • Ingredients: Raw egg yolk, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, salt, and pepper
  • Verdict: Take this the morning after you run through the list above. Good luck!

If your friends can survive any one of these shots, they’ve earned the right to be a part of your wedding.

I reached out to The Man Registry on a Saturday, just 7 days before my wedding, asking for help with my groomsmen gifts. I heard back within an hour and was able to get 8 personalized coolers in just 3 days. Ordering was easy and the quality was top notch. Would highly recommend The Man Registry!
