Wedding Night Sex for Virgins

Bob Horner

Guys, if you’ll be a virgin on your wedding night, we have two things to say: First, congrats on your accomplishment, and second, remember that it can help to do a little research ahead of time. We’ve compiled some tips to make that first time a little less “anxiety and fear” and a little more “shock and awe.”

People remain virgins until marriage for many reasons, and for whatever yours may be, you should be commended. It isn’t an easy choice, but one that will reward you in the future.

The first step is to do a bit planning before the big night. You should already be comfortable talking about sex with your fiancée. If not, now’s the time to bring it up. This is a very simple way to cut through any tension and or anxiety. If she’s a virgin as well, you’ll both be experiencing this together and can discuss your feelings and expectations. Most couples will attend some sort of marriage counseling and this is another place that sex will probably be discussed, so it helps to be prepared.

While women can definitely enjoy their first time, it’s important to remember that that this isn’t one of those dirty movies you hide under your bed. She probably won’t appreciate any crazy, kung fu-type moves on your wedding night. It’s always a good idea to lube it up and take your time with some pre-dance moves (otherwise known as foreplay), such as kissing, etc.

For some guys, all the pressure of bringing you’re A-game mixed with all of the stress of the wedding day might have junior in a bit of a slump. Again, practicing some pre-dance moves with your fiancée is a good way to get you both in the mood. Another way to lighten the mood is to play a game, such as sex dice or cards, or something that will get you both laughing.

As far as your performance, don’t put unnecessary expectations on yourself. Most likely, you won’t be Superman, but more like Clark Kent. The idea is to enjoy the night with your bride. Take things slow, unless you’re so tired that you’re ready to fall asleep. If that’s the case, don’t sweat it. In fact, 55 percent of couples don’t close the deal on their wedding night, so if you’re both exhausted, don’t feel like you have to. There’ll be plenty of time on the honeymoon.

TMR Recommendation: Losing your virginity to your bride is a great thing. Just remember to communicate with her long before the big night. This will help dissolve any anxiety you may have. Also remember to continue the communication into the bedroom so you’ll both learn what you like and how to help the other person have a great time.
